I will be eternally grateful for my family and friends who have been supportive in AAL. <br /><br />My gratitude to the one of a kind staff of AAL is indescribable. We are thrilled at the opportunity to not only provide a rigorous educational program but to invest in their social development. <div><br /></div><div>Each month all 5th-8th grade students, from our school district, meet at our South campus for a <i><b>Leadership Symposium</b></i>. Today we listened to a powerful presentation by the Tucson Police Department Gang Prevention Unit. Officers Mark and Pablo were candid about what gangs really have to offer. Undoubtedly, the AAL students were greatly impacted by this presentation as they remained engaged and attentive. </div><div><br /></div><div>Our time together concluded with encouragement for the students to begin to dream and set goals for their lives.
